I was born on the 25^th of May 1968 in former Leningrad (St. Petersburg) in a family of doctors. But I suppose that the details of my childhood aren’t of interest to a wider audience.

After leaving school that specialized on physics and mathematics I entered the Medical Faculty of the Medical Institute of Leningrad #1. After the first year at university I served in the army for 2 years and after the demobilization successfully graduated from the university in 1993. Trained in internship and then had my clinical studies at the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

I first started my practice in plastic surgery during my postgraduate training in a group of famous Russian surgeons in St. Petersburg. At the same time I was developing my expertise in surgery and got a specialization in breast care (microsurgery, thermal injuries and reconstructive surgery) at the Oncology Reseach Institute named after Professor N. Petrov. In 2003 and 2004 I had a study course at Professor K. Brunnert’s, a famous German specialist in mammology.

I am a member of the Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (SPRAS) since 1998 and a permanent participant of medical congresses and symposiums in Russia and abroad.

As a plastic surgeon I worked for 10 years in the largest network of private clinics “Medi”, I also have a private practice and collaborate with several major medical institutions as a visiting plastic surgeon (Regional Cancer Center, City Hospital #26).

Since 2013 I’m working as a lecturer in the department of plastic surgery of St. Petersburg State Medical University named after Academician I. Pavlov.

At the moment I work at the “Medici” clinic.
